In A Nutshell: Watch This Video
These are a handful of different couples I've worked with and their stories.
My Latest Work
Melissa & Justin
Which wedding day package was this? Blue Steel Package
Melissa and Justin got married March 25, 2017 at the historic (and AMAZING) William Aiken House on King Street in historic downtown Charleston. Melissa is originally from North Carolina, Justin's family is from south Florida so Charleston was a happy middle ground for a gorgeous destination wedding. My personal favorite moments? I pretty much fell in love with all of Melissa's nieces and nephews under the age of 7. Capturing Melissa's 8-month old twin nieces trying to eat the lipgloss tool was WAY too adorable, and seeing how proud Melissa's nephew came up to his grandmother and proudly exclaimed, "I GOT A BOWTIE!" and his little brother Dale beaming at all his aunts as they finished getting ready was the sweetest thing to me. Melissa and Justin's families were some of the kindest, most accommodating families I've ever filmed. And let's not forget the moment the groomsmen surprised the wedding guests with their Magic Mike dance session.

Sara & Kevin
Which videography package is this? Rose Gold Package
Sara and Kevin's romantic beach front wedding video at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. This was a beautiful destination wedding as their families came from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area to sunny and historical Charleston, South Carolina to celebrate their marriage to one another. Amanda & Wes
Amanda and Wes met through their mutual love of softball.
One of the sweetest, most down to earth couples I've ever worked with, we instantly bonded over their love of the show, "Below Deck" on Bravo and my background of working on boats, and having discovering we're both golden retrievers parents (the picture above is from their engagement pictures on Folly Beach with their little Golden girl, Lacie Mae.) They had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on John's Island, and their reception followed at the Seabrook Island Clubhouse.
an apparition or double of a living person
Used in a sentence: "No one told me Wes' Best Man was Justin Timberlake's doppelgänger."
Their best man, David gave the greatest recap of their relationship through the years and finished his speech with a little something for Amanda to use if Wes ever got outta line... It was priceless!
From a filming perspective I had so much fun capturing their sparkler send off in ultra slow motion - 240 frames per second, AND there's nothing like bubbering behind the camera wiping tears off my face watching the two of them dance as Thomas Rhett's "Die A Happy Man" played for their first song together.
Who You Gonna Call: Tori & John
You can learn a lot about a bride and groom from the speeches given at their weddings. As Tori's MOH recalled their college days where they connected over their love of I Love Lucy and being Night Owls, to John's best man, his father some words of wisdom for the young and newly married, it was clear this couple left a wake of love, thoughtfulness and sincerity through their worlds.
I captured one of my favorite images of all time at their wedding; Bo (their Chocolate Lab)'s response to their first look.
I looked forward to filming their wedding for months as they mentioned the possibility of their bridal entrance involving the Ghost Buster theme song and Proton backpacks...their entrance did not disappoint!
The Emerald Empire Band sang those Motown riffs and Funky Blues all throughout this unforgettable night.
Rockstars & Cake Cutting Extraordinaires: Melissa and Matt
I don't know what was better, the look of terror on Matt's face or the fact that about 5 seconds before Melissa says, "Okay don't mess this up," but Melissa and Matt definitely got the Best Cake Cutting of 2016 award in my book. Matt's giddy laughter perfectly summed up not only this moment but the energy on this special day. Melissa and Matt are two of the most kind, easygoing people you will ever meet. I loved how Melissa's little sisters and Matt's brother told the stories of how Matt and Melissa really got together.
Oh, and did I mention they are complete rockstars? That's right, they got up on the stage and rocked their socks off with The Moxie Band (hands down one of the best wedding bands I've ever seen!), the only thing that could've made that moment any better was a little more cowbell.
Kristen Scott did a stunning job pulling together Melissa's vision, especially those oyster and pearl placards! Congratulations Melissa and Matt! We loved celebrating with you and your families!
Katie and Spencer: Wedding Ceremony Of The Year
This wedding was nothing but fun from the start - one of their dear friends made his wedding officiant debut at their wedding and man, there is nothing like a good friend to tell it like it REALLY is on your wedding day! This couple had a unique (and more and more common these days) way of meeting (watch their ceremony video to find out!) and the truth came out during their ceremony. Katie and Spencer's day was filled with nothing but laughter and tears of joy. Katie did a first look with her Dad and it was such a special moment between the two of them. Other highlights from this wedding include sneaking the bride through the hotel on a luggage caddy, a groomsmen driving from Hilton Head to Atlanta to buy a second set of his three piece suit, and the Best Man's story of working with a company out of china to make bobble head replicas of him and Spencer. This wedding was nothing but fun and I had a blast working alongside Corey Cassaw out of Kansas City, Missouri.
